St. Paul and The Broken Bones at Blue Note Hawaii

St. Paul and The Broken Bones

Birmingham, Alabama natives St Paul and the Broken Bones blend tight horn lines and Southern-fried soul to form music that's buzzing with electricity. As such, their live shows are no sit-down affairs and front man Paul Janeway brings the gospel-soaked goodness of his vocals to stage with the energy of a young James Brown.

Tower of Power at Blue Note Hawaii

Tower of Power

A fusion of horn-based soul and funk with the tightest rhythm section ever to grace the stage, Tower of Power have been bringing their unique style to shows since 1968. However the veteran performers are not old news, they imbue their music with an upbeat joy that speaks to multi-generational audiences, from today's young music students to the groovy cats of the Motown era.
